With more people relying on frameworks it seems the rise of templates is not such an odd occurrence. While most developers would prefer to code their layouts from scratch, templates can save a lot of time on projects with short deadlines.

A new site called HTML5 UP! offers access to incredibly well-designed templates that run in all browsers.

Features include HTML5/CSS3 code, fully responsive, and customizable in every area. Not to mention that all templates are open source and free to use for any purpose.
