  1. Good collection! I really like most of these designs (seen almost all of them on different web galleries), although I got a strange feeling about some of them. There’s a really nice tutorial on PSDTuts.com how to design (http://psdtuts.com/interface-tutorials/create-a-sleek-high-end-web-design-from-scratch/) and another one on NETTuts.com on how to build (http://nettuts.com/site-builds/build-a-sleek-portfolio-site-from-scratch/) a “slick, high-end” site. Some of these designs look pretty similar to the one in the tutorials, but I’m not sure which one was first. Anyway, it’s a nice collection, keep up the good work.

  23. the #1 problem with all these dark sites is that with dark backgrounds comes light text. Studies have been conducted time and time again showing that that user is more likely to stay and read if its dark text on a light background, instead of light text on dark.

  26. “might i also suggest” … NO!

it’s your own fucking site you’re trying to indiscreetly promote and nothing more, quit trying to mask it with this “suggestive” prefix statement.

kris from aereus – i don’t think you’ve promoted your own sites enough, please list them again. they’re very cool and original (looks great in IE6 too).

  55. You lost me, buddy. I imply, I suppose I get what youre saying. I get where youre coming from. But you just seem to have forgotten that you will find individuals out there who can see this issue for what it actually is and might not agree with you. You seem to alienate a whole bunch of men and women who may well have been fans of your weblog.

  57. Good post. I be taught something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It can all the time be stimulating to learn content from other writers and apply slightly something from their store. I’d choose to make use of some with the content material on my weblog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a hyperlink in your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.
