The Coming Soon page is simply the modern version of the under construction page, There are many advantages in coming soon page, it’s a good way to mark your presence early in web , as google search algorithm consider the domain age as one of it’s major factors . This type of page has dropped the annoying construction cones and replaced with relevant and useful information, Mainly the sign up form to be notified of an actual launch

A lot of these coming soon pages are model examples of incorporating wit and creativity. I would definitely return to sites with these types of pages. Awesome!

A pretty clear picture - content is the priority - the elevator pitch takes front and center stage on these examples.
Question, how or why is this effective while at the same time a “splash page” typically is a bad idea for a home page. Just thinking.

These are some very inspirational coming soon pages. I had always just placed a graphic or logo, but now I see the benefits of adding other “sneak peak” type elements.
