I love the Free People site. I think they change their art every time a new catalog comes out, too. I have collected screenshots of their site since January 2008.
RX Monsters hardly looks like a website! That’s awesome how the designer was able to think so outside the traditional bounds of web design to come up with that concept.
You might enjoy the background I created for my site, too. It’s not as extravagant as some of the examples you’ve presented, but it’s still an interesting background, imho

Fantastic backgrounds and great website. I would to know where I can get someone to design a good background for my website http://www.skylanterns2u.com. It is nearly finished and would like that finished touch with a beautiful background in keeping with it theme. If anyone has any advice of recommendations it would be much appreciated.

I particularly like kit10design (fourth down). With the background blurred it really brings the content into focus. Inspiration I might employ in future website designs.
